xlab

xLab is a new emerging department that is run by Shelton Fleming, a design technology agency that is based in London, United Kingdom. Peri was part of the design of this exciting event. She has produced a series of motion-based presentation design for the welcome event of xLab. The resulting work was very successful. This project has been very inspirational to peri's future work.

With the approach to deliver this key message to the audience, xLab has selected a series of technology theme video to introduce their new department xLab. Peri's job is to help develop the visual in motion graphics, with the aim to impress the audience with an expressive presentation.

With a large talented team of digital design, digital strategy, and marketing, Shelton Fleming is specialised in applying new technologies into design work for clients. This includes developing virtual reality and augmented reality in branding, gaming, and interactive experience. Shelton Fleming also has launched in global technology event such as the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Shelton Fleming also have a strong social network with tech giant such as Nokia and Hitachi.

Shelton Fleming has a great connection all over the world. With a strong aspiration of deliberating technology into practice in design and brand strategy, xLab is launched to expand the company with a focus on user experience and interactivity. The company itself is also growing internationally, working across the UK, US, Europe, and Asia. It was a great honour and experience for Peri to work with the xLab team for this specific project.

It was an interesting experience applying video into powerpoint / keynote document. It is very different to standard video project. In which, we need to also consider about the time while the guess is talking, how can we take control with the time while playing the video as a background.

The presentation was hosted by the digital design director of Shelton Fleming. The event went really well. The whole experience was extremely impressive and unforgettable.

On this project, Peri has also develop a strategy plan for the re-creation of their official website. This project has given and unique insight to improve Peri's UI/UX skills when it comes to website design and development.
