Set Project's Targets & Goals

After I received a project brief, the first step is to understand what is the main purpose of the specific project, and measure the success of its project / product launch.

What's the approach? For instance:
 

  • Attract new audiences / customers?

  • Increase brand strategy / UI / UX?

  • Increase sales?

Find out what's the problem

After develop understanding of the company or the brand, I will find out what are the main challenges, and create plans and proposals to resolve the issue. (Also depends what type of project it is.) For instance:

  • Why is the brand not attracting new audiences?

  • Why are the sales not increasing?

  • Why people are not interested in the products?

Design & Production

After my clients approved my proposal, I'll then start the design and production part. I'll also open up a shared drive file and time-sheet documents with my clients, so that they can see the most updated designs and track my progress anytime they want. 

  • Increase quality of all design products

  • Make sure all the document size are formatted correctly

  • When I work with a team, I always make sure all the design documents are functional, labeled and named correctly.

  • Make sure my clients can always receive the most up-to-date information.

  • Make sure the project delivered on time.

Contextualised Researches

I believe research and documentation are the keys. This will help to develop my understanding of what the clients are looking for. Which will also lead to developing excellent brand strategy for their company while matching their brand culture and style preferences.

  • Who are their main target customers / audiences?

  • How to improve their brand visuals / quality of products / services?

Presentation

I normally came up with at least 2-3 plans to advice my clients, no matter in design or marketing. I love to create visual plans,  storyboards and infographic art board for their projects. The plans usually involves:

  • Design plans and procedures

  • Delivering time and Budget Evaluation

  • Next steps

Result Analysis and Learnings

After the project is delivered, I'll ask for feedbacks from my clients, and also provide further advising and assistances if they required. When it comes to marketing project, we'll analysis data and create plans for content creation and future promotion.
